Gender Role Issues: Usagi suffers from no internal conflict regarding her role as a woman, but is very traditional and idealistic in her approach: "Just when I'm in trouble, a handsome guy will come along and save me! That's my dream!" She usually finds sufficient resolve to handle crises, but this tends to require the encouragement of her partner.
Miscellaneous: Competes with her own (albeit future) daughter for Mamoru's romantic affections, whether or not Mamoru realizes it; is often shown to feel challenged and defeated by this competition. Slightly homophobic (a trait shared with most of the inner senshi). Protective of her partner to the point of easy jealousy and all-pervasive obsession.
